The Dundee Vocational Rehabilitation Pilot Project – Working Health Services Dundee

This page gives details of the recently established pilot project to improve access to VR in Dundee.

About the Pilot Project

The government has made commitments to reduce the number of working days lost to ill health and to improve access to VR intervention. In support of this, The Scottish Centre for Healthy Working Lives (as part of NHS Health Scotland) and NHS Tayside have set up a pilot VR project within Dundee Community Health Partnership. The project is called Working Health Services Dundee.

A specialist VR team has been established and tasked with providing fast-track care and services to employees who may be about to take sick leave. It also supports those who are currently off work and in need of VR services and support, with the goal of allowing them to return to work as soon as is practical.

Further information about the Dundee Pilot Project will appear on this page as it becomes available.
