The Adviceline offers immediate, free and confidential help and information on any matter concerning health and wellbeing in the workplace, including health and safety, occupational health and health promotion.

How we help

We can help you with issues such as:

  • stress management
  • sickness absence management
  • the Fit Note (replacing the Sick Note)
  • risk assessments
  • bullying and harassment
  • lone working
  • health surveillance
  • health & safety, smoking, alcohol and drugs policies.

We can also provide information about the Healthy Working Lives Award Programme and Workplace Services.

Who we help

We can help if you are an employer or an employee at any size of organisation in the private, public or voluntary sector in Scotland. In particular, we focus on supporting small businesses - offering advice on a wide range of workplace health and wellbeing matters. 

Opening hours

We are open 

  • Monday to Thursday: 9am to 5pm 
  • Friday:9am to 4.30pm.
