ToolBox - Display Screen Equipment (DSE) Risk Assessment Awareness


Aim To increase delegates awareness and understanding of their statutory requirements in relation to DSE risk assessment in their workplace. The focus is on the methodology of the DSE risk assessment and the help that is available from Healthy Working Lives.

Learning Outcomes - By the end of the toolbox delegates will:

  1. Have an understanding of the main requirements of The Display Screen Equipment Reg-ulations 1992

  2. Have an understanding of the basic principles to adopt when carrying out a DSE risk assessment.

  3. Have practised carrying out a DSE risk assessment during the toolbox

  4. Know where and how to get help and support

Who should attend? This course is intended for those people who have responsibility for health and safety in small businesses and voluntary organisations including new business start-ups and established workplaces.
