This
workshop is aimed at managers, supervisors and others who have specific fire
safety responsibilities in their organisation.



The workshop
highlights the key role of line managers, supervisors and others who have
responsibility for fire safety in the workplace. It focuses on the practical
aspects of fire safety and the importance of ensuring that fire hazards are
identified and control measures are introduced to reduce the likelihood of
fire breaking out. Delegates leave the session with an understanding of the
methodology to adopt when carrying out a fire risk assessment and how to write
an emergency fire action plan for their workplace. It also offers some
practical advice on fire safety at home.
