National Mentally Healthy Workplaces – Training for Trainers

This three day training for trainers course will equip you with the knowledge, skills and experience to deliver the Mentally Healthy Workplace training in your organisation. By committing to this programme you will have access to a range of learning materials and interventions that can help your organisation to create a mentally healthy workplace, and reap the rewards. The course you will be trained to deliver aims to:·         Give a broader understanding of mental health·         Identify the key factors that contribute to a mentally healthy workplace·         Increase awareness of the mental health in the workplace·         Improve confidence in dealing with mental health and wellbeing in the workplace·         Increase understanding and awareness of the legislation that relates to mental health and wellbeing in the workplace The course is delivered over three days, attendance at each day is required to complete the process.Day 1- you experience the course as a participant. Providing you with knowledge of the subject and Day 2- you work with the expert trainer to explore the content, delivery methods and potential challenges.Day 3- you demonstrate your capability by delivering a section of the course to your peers. The training for trainers will cover a range of interventions providing delegates with ‘toolbox’ of options to take back to their business depending on their need.  These interventions can be complemented by a selection of resources and campaign materials that could be used to raise the profile of stress and mental health in the workplace.
